No BMB Today

Why not? Jordan's platelets are too low, back down to 10K. HGB is already down to 8.5. He will get transfusions of both again today. The bone marrow biopsy is rescheduled for tomorrow. Fever bouncing around, down to 99.?, then up to 101.? Dr. Z said he'll try to get the Seattle appointment for next week. Ugh. This week. This week!

Oh dear !!!! we will begin praying specifically for a BMB to take place and a Dr.s appt. in Seattle quickly!!! Wonder how a slice of pizza through the blender would be?Pizza seems to be worth a try because it is so well liked, but the big question is will stay down!!!! Glad he is getting some vital nutrients now but hope things do improve soon, I too would be glad to give some of my appetite if there was a way to give it, consider it given. Lots of love and prayers your way, for ALL of you !!!

Hi Bonnie, Brianna and Jordan,
Just learned yesterday about this illness and want you to know our prayers and thoughts go out to you each day. You know old friends though not heard form often still wish you all good things. Hope you can get to that specialist soon and that all will go well. Wish we could do more than wish and pray. With love, Wendie Iverson

Bee and family...

I just wanted you all to know that I am following your blog closely. I visit everyday to keep up so that I can pray for specific needs... in fact my prayers for you dear family never truly stop.

While I don't begin to understand Father's reasons I know He has the answers we all seek and I hope for your sakes that He shows them to you soon.

I too wish I could give you more than words and prayers, but then, what is more powerful than fasting and praying-which I know is being done on Jordan's behalf. We will pray that Jordan is strong enough for the BMB tomorrow, and a trip to Seattle comes ASAP. Keep the faith!!
Love, Louise

Julie, Wendie, PollyAnna, and Louise, knowing you, and others, are with us is a greater comfort than you know. And honestly, I hope you never know how much it means to us. Hugs to each of you...

Lots of love and prayers to you all. I too will begin praying for the BMB and Seattle appointment NOW. When Jackson had a BMB the stuff they gave him to knock him out had a weird side effect. They told us that as he came out of it and starting waking up his nose would itch. Sure enough he started making some little moans and his hand went straight to his nose to start rubbing the itch away! It made me marvel at the medicines and how specific things in our bodies reacted. Now if only we could hook Jordan up to a computer get the exact readouts of the exact medicines that were needed, wouldn't that be awesome?!
